Having been max's biggest critic since this podcast came out, I've taken some time to consider my actions and will be giving him a second chance. Not that you need my approval. Your doing you and that is great. However, if you want to be respected, respect others and then it will be returned.

I obviously enjoy the podcast and the stuff George and Max get up to outside of it too. However, as Max himself admits, he's not particularly well read on matters regarding politics and the law. Given that, and the contentious nature of politics and the law, surely it's best to not pass a view until you know the ins and outs of the topic? For example, there are numerous intricacies regarding trans rights and laws, including an unfortunate increase in people pretending to be trans to gain access to women and womens spaces in order to commit horrid crimes like rape. That obviously doesn't mean that most trans people have any such intention, but it does mean that changes to the law cannot be rash and must be made in light of the risks a change in law might have on another group of people. Regarding the % of people with different sexualities, again the figures cited are massively incorrect and flawed. The methodology for obtaining the information is based on a false premise and this has been proven time and time again in multiple experiments. I could, in mere minutes, prove that the vast majority of the population are not heterosexual, as the self-reported figures would suggest, merely by using scientific journals, case study data, and other peer reviewed sources. The take away point is that whilst I think that both Max and George are lovely people, such topic best be avoided unless a view can be backed up with concrete evidence (not to mention, is this the type of podcast which wants to risk creating a division in its fan base based on politics, or any other pillar of society? I should hope and imagine the answer is no). EDIT: I just remembered the comment made about Grindr and wanted to say that a) yes, it's funny, but b) it's not ironic because the vast majority of Republicans in the US don't support withdrawing rights for LGBT people. There are, of course, a tiny minority who do, which is disgusting, but most don't. Much like there's a small amount of antisemites in the Labour party here, but we don't say that therefore the whole party is anti-jewish, do we? No, because that would be wrong.
